See what your patio costs before anyone comes out

Most patio companies make you book a visit to hear a number. Trace your space, get a real range in about a minute, and decide from there.

Paver patios and walkways across Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Installed price runs $17.00 to $25.00 per square foot, plus $450 to get the crew and equipment on site.

How big is the patio or walkway?

$17.00 to $25.00 a square foot installed. Tap the closest match.

What that price actually buys

Patio quotes vary by thousands for the same square footage. Almost all of the difference is under the pavers, where you cannot see it.

Excavation

The old surface and soil come out to depth. Skipping this is how a patio ends up two inches proud of the door sill.

Six inches of compacted base

Compacted in lifts, not dumped and raked. This is the single thing that decides whether the patio is flat in ten years, and it is the first thing a cheaper bid leaves out.

Bedding sand, pavers, edge restraint

Screeded bed, pavers cut to the line, and a restraint along every open edge so the field cannot creep outward.

Polymeric joint sand

Swept and set so the joints lock and weeds have nowhere to start.

Have the patio measured properly

The range above is an estimate, not a quote. Someone comes out, measures, checks access and drainage, and confirms the number in person before any work is agreed.
