Grounds and seasonal colour
Detroit Yacht Club
Season-long grounds care for the club on Belle Isle. Annuals set in tight block drifts against clipped evergreen structure, borders kept crisp against the historic brick and stucco, and the waterfront terrace planting maintained through the season rather than planted once and left.
“Lorena and her husband did such a fantastic job transforming our home. They first came to the house to look at the areas and provided great recommendations on flowers, bushes, trees, etc. Communication throughout the entire process was helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is wanting to elevate or transform their home. We will definitely be using them for future projects as well.”
Foundation beds on a brick colonial
Clipped shrubs and boxwood set in a dark mulched bed running the front of the house, with boulders used to hold the grade where the lawn falls away.

Curved paver walkway and terrace
A front garden rebuilt from the soil up. The lawn was cut back to a new curve, excavated, brought to grade on a compacted base, then laid in grey pavers with a contrasting border. Photographed start to finish over the course of the build.
